Because reading is what? Fundamental! I really should've played this deck in June because Fire & Geekboy are boyfriends and Magigirl is their hag bff.

Finally, real Blair found a deck to play as anime Blair! Idk, I wasn't even planning to invest in this deck at all because Doombroker is what every Reddit mod thinks he looks like, but after they announced the skill buff I figured I would give it a try and was pleasantly surprised at how well it plays. Being able to use both effects every turn really helps with your comeback ability, both to set their Traps and to retrieve additional resources for follow-up.

Being able to run a large suite of non-engine is also fantastic in case your Doombroker + Trap play gets Golem'ed, and to potentially ***** up any potential FTK shenanigans. Shoutout to the character duels update for helping me get free copies of Effect Veiler! I put Gallant in here because you can hypothetically do a low-investment setup to grab Nibiru but I ended up going 2nd frequently against decks where that strat would've been viable. Also, not many people run more than 1 copy of Fire but I really appreciated having that extra bit of consistency and so I didn't have to use Agent to retrieve one from GY all the time.

I got a 16 win streak from Plat into Legend 3 but then it ended up taking me four rank-up matches to finally hit KOG, and that's only because the D-HERO player timed out. Speaking of, that's the single worst matchup for my deck unless I happen to open Droplet (the FTK didn't come up at all somehow...funny how an untargetable skill drain on legs is already nigh unbeatable for anyone who's skill doesn't allow Kaiju access). Therion was surpisingly beatable but I still think they could stand to have a summoning restriction put onto their Skill to stop them from abusing stall tactics, and D-HERO should be locked into Dark HERO effects only.
