Notes & Combos

Ladder is full of synchro decks (mainly Stardust), so I adapted my ArchImera build to play "protect the castle" with Highlander.

Going first (when you open Swordknight, X, Y, Z)

  • regular combo:
    • skill returns X for Fusion
    • ns Swordknight, ss Gazelle, add Berformet
    • fuse Berformet + Gazelle to Chimera the King, then add Apprentice + revive Swordknight + recycle Fusion
    • discard Y to ss Apprentice, add Cornfield
    • discard Cornfield to add Swordknight
    • fuse Swordknight in hand + Chimera the King to Berformet the king and dump Bone
    • overlay Apprentice + Berformet the King to Beatrice, then dump Heiress to add Glitch
    • link Beatrice + revived Swordknight into I:P
    • discard Z to ss Bone, then dump Vision to add Gaia and use it to add Golem
    • end field is I:P + Bone + Glitch + Golem + Gaia + 2 revives using Chimera fusions in gy. after you revive a Chimera fusion, Swordknight + Cornfield gy effects are live
  • anti synchro combo:
    • link Beatrice + revived Swordknight into Muckraker
    • discard Z to activate Muckraker to revive Bone (so you NOT dragon locked)
    • Bone dump Vision to add Gaia and use it to add back Vision
    • ss Vision, then Bone + Vision into Highlander
    • end field is Highlander + Muckraker to protect it + Glitch to pop it in case it netaged of flipped down + Gaia + 2 revives using Chimera fusions in gy (Chimera can revive Highlander)
