Shining Sarcophagus

Shining Sarcophagus can't play going second, and its Turn 1 is very breakable. This deck cannot compete with the meta.

Shining Sarcophagus just can't keep up with the current meta. Having to pay half your LP for its Turn 1 setup makes it way too easy to get OTK'd, as a single Loading... or Loading... can be enough to break its board and push for lethal.

On top of that, the deck can't go second.

Dark Magician, Horus, and Shining Sarcophagus may look close in strength, but Horus and Dark Magician each have something that sets them apart. Horus has its handtraps, while Dark Magician has a board that is hard to break and a more flexible follow-up.

Shining Sarcophagus has neither. It has to halve your life points just to make a board, and its follow-up is weak.
