Stage 1

Your first duel! I imagine if you're here, you've already done this much at least.

Stage 2

Joey Wheeler becomes available to you at this stage.

Stage 4

Stage 5

Tea Gardner becomes available at the gate, but she isn't unlockable yet! This becomes a trend in the later stages. Characters will start to appear at the gate to duel one stage before their unlock missions are available.

Stage 6

Tea Gardner becomes unlockable, and the Auto-Duel function can now be used on duelists that aren't residing in the gate.

The Loading... in Kaiba's starter deck and Loading... from Tea are both single-tribute monsters. Your early opponents should be easy enough to summon level 7-8 monsters against, such as Loading... and Loading... , but single-tributes are usually easier to fulfill Tribute requirements with.

Stage 7

Your resources are thin at this point, take only a N-rarity card that requires gold and none of your jewels. If anything, keep an eye out for the Aroma-support cards, such as Loading... , Loading... , Loading... , Loading... , Loading... and Loading... whenever you're visiting the Card Trader. There's no rush to pick them up this early, but they will help meet future stage criteria that revolves around life points.

The mission specifies “Play” against the Vagabond, meaning you'll still get a pass even if you lose.

Stage 10

When a mission specifies having to do multiple normal summons or activate several spells and traps within the same duel, you aren't required to win as long as you meet this given criteria. If you still have too much trouble, you can fall back on dueling a Level 10 duelist at the gate to utilize your cards more freely.

Stage 11

Mai Valentine becomes unlockable.

Tristan Taylor becomes unlockable

Stage 14

Stage 15

Based on your choice of starter duelist at the beginning of the game, the duelist you did not choose between Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba will be available at the gate. Their respective key color will be the mission reward.

Stage 16

The duelist who appeared at the gate in Stage 15 is now unlockable. To “use” a skill 1 time, either activate your skill manually, such as choosing to use Restart or Beatdown , or simply enter a duel with a passive skill such as Holy Guard or Fields of the Warriors .

Stage 17

Effect damage is dealt via card effects rather than combat. You're given Loading... via starter deck if you don't have any better options, but other cheap options at this point include Loading... and Loading... . Dealing effect damage becomes much easier once you're able to acquire several key cards: Loading... , Loading... and Loading... . These are important for farm decks as well, so try to invest in them when you can.

Stage 18

Three consecutive duels meaning you have to win three in a row, uninterrupted.

Stage 19

You can use any number of spells or traps together in one duel as long as it's greater than or equal to 5. It doesn't have to be 5 spells or 5 traps.

Stage 20

We're now 10 stages away from when you start needing to have hidden characters already unlocked. It is suggested that you review the list of criteria for these characters and consider which actions you'll need to prioritize moving forward. There's no tracker in-game for several of the criterion, so monitor your progress: have you been summoning enough LIGHT monsters? Performing enough tribute summons?

Stage 21

Rex Raptor becomes unlockable.

If you aren't able to put together Aromage cards by now, at least Loading... and Loading... , cheap cards that grant LP gain include Loading... and Loading... . Tea Gardner has many LP gain cards in her drop pool, such as Loading... , Loading... and Loading... as well.

Stage 22

To “use” a skill 1 time, either activate your skill manually, such as choosing to use Restart or Beatdown , or simply enter a duel with a passive skill such as Holy Guard or Fields of the Warriors .

Stage 23

To win by deck out, your opponent must enter their Draw Phase with no cards left in the deck to be drawn. The quickest way to do so would be to play cards that “mill” your opponent's deck, such as Loading... and Loading... . If you have Bonz unlocked, you can try using Loading... . An alternative deck out condition would simply be to make sure that it's impossible for you to deck out first, with a card returning to the deck like Loading... or Loading... . Doing so would be too tedious, however, and is more of a last resort based on your card pool.

Recall that performing multiple tribute summons is easier with monsters levelled 5-6. Special summons that require the tributing of monsters, such as Loading... or Loading... cannot meet this criteria as they are not “Tribute Summons.

If you struggle to win 10 consecutive duels, you can always face Level 10's at the gate.

Stage 26

Loading... and Loading... probably aren't cutting it for dealing effect damage at this point. You can still scrape by with them, but the combination of Loading... , Loading... and Loading... can start working its magic if you already have them by now. If not, cards like Loading... , Loading... or other effect-dealers can work.

There's an upcoming stage that requires Fusion summons. If you're lacking in fusion monsters or Loading... , It is suggested taking a dip into GX and unlock Chazz and Alexis. Alexis also drops Ritual monsters for the Stage 31 if you need them.

Cheap ritual monsters include the Cyber Angels (Loading... , Loading... and Loading... all given by Alexis Rhodes in GX), Loading... and Loading... . Burger is a random standard duelist drop reward, so if you don't have one by now you'll need to rely on the others if you haven't purchased from a box that also contains ritual monsters. Don't forget that you'll need to play the rituals in your deck with their respective ritual spell card.

Activating a skill that utilizes field spells, such as Mythic Depths will meet the criteria of this stage's mission.

Stage 34

Remember: Loading... , Loading... and Loading... alongside big monsters enables you to deal thousands of points of effect damage in a single blow. Two Union Attack and a Loading... , for example, would allow Vassal to attack directly with Pass for 8,200 damage alone!

Almost all Fusion summons require the use of Loading... , which you'll easily get from the starter decks of Alexis Rhodes and Chazz Princeton. Having progress in GX also gives you many fusion monsters to choose from: better than most of the free garbage you'll pick up as low-rarity drops. Jaden Yuki provides you with many different Elemental HEROs to work with if you've levelled him enough, or you can resort to Loading... from Chazz. Fusion substitutes like Loading... are compatible with these fusions, making your draws a little easier. If worse comes to worst, you can always fall back on cards like Loading... .

As already stated for Stage 38: Jaden Yuki provides you with many different Elemental HEROs to work with if you've levelled him enough, or you can resort to Loading... from Chazz. Fusion substitutes like Loading... are compatible with these fusions, making your draws a little easier. If worse comes to worst, you can always fall back on cards like Loading... .

If you struggle to fusion summon twice against standard or legendary duelists, just resort to dueling a Level 10 at the Gate.

Loading... is easily the worst of the bunch to use, and this isn't the only mission where you have to use it. You can set it up in extremely niche circumstances, but the fastest way to meet this is to set up a Duel Room with a friend and have him knowingly trigger your Blasts.

A Loading... + 1,000 ATK via equip spells or other boosters like Loading... is all you need to inflict 4,000 damage attacking directly.

Stage 51

The Loading... , Loading... and Loading... combo easily deals over 4,000 effect damage.

Stage 52

Quick victories mean you have to win within the first four turns.

Stage 53

A comeback victory is achieved when you win a duel when your LP was lower than your opponent's at the start of your turn.

Three fusion summons in one duel may be difficult, if not tedious if you have no way to recycle your Loading... . Loading... does exactly that if you have it, or you can run different fusion spells as well. The Master of Fusion skill can also be used if you're desperate enough.

Loading... can be summoned more easily through the use of Loading... and Loading... . A skill-farm deck runs these cards, so if you don't have them already it doesn't hurt to pick them up.

Stage 57

With only three Spell/Trap zones, you need to be able to clear your continuous spells. Bring removal like Loading... or have cards that can easily be removed from the field in other ways, such as consuming Loading... to special summon a Loading... or Loading... from the graveyard. Loading... can be used to repeatedly search Loading... and Loading... to gather continuous spells more quickly, instead.

Stage 58

If you're short on ritual cards, Loading... can recycle ritual monsters and Loading... from the graveyard.

If you don't have a copy of Loading... , It is suggested that you start getting one now.

Stage 59

Again, Loading... is obnoxious to set up properly in PvE. You can save yourself the effort by using it in a duel room and telling your opponent when you have it so they know to trigger it. Feel free to drop a line in our new-player-help channel in the Discord if you don't have anyone willing to assist.

Summoning Loading... is the ultimate test of skill. At least, it would be if we couldn't just set up Loading... with Loading... against a Level 10 duelist at the gate and wait. You can bypass this process with Loading... .

Stage 60

Currently no missions.
