Hey there, fellow math enjoyer from TCG/MD who has played DL on and off through the years. Saw Mathmech come out with a cracked skill (piercing Final Sigma my beloved) and decided to try to reach KoG in the remainder of the August season. Played this deck all the way from Gold 1 all the way to Legend 2 so far.

Deck felt incredible, you rarely ever brick and the times you do, you usually still have a way into Primathmech Alembertian using any "Mathmech" name plus an extender (Add/Sub).

You can run 3 Sigma, more math tuners are always welcome thanks to the skill, and the non-engine is malleable. You can run Eclipse, Belle, Veiler, or whatever else you can play to help you break boards or interrupt them. At times I've felt like the non-engine I ran weren't impactful enough and wanted to swap them, but also had times where they worked great and wanted to keep them, so its up to personal preference. If you can, though, run Ghost Belle for Crow/Bystials.

The 2nd Laplacian is cuttable, and you could argue about cutting Link Disciple, too. I like running it to banish for Cyberse Wicckid so you can keep your math names in GY. Sigma getting banished by its own effect rarely matters as you run 2-3x for skill's sake. I tried Update Jammer but it felt bad trying to OTK with Darkfluid. You could argue you can play Magma for simpler game-state options, or for adding another token on Darkfluid, but I never tried it as the thought felt silly in my head since this deck usually likes to explode through its ED resources and extenders while making/breaking a board. 2nd Final Sigma never came up so I never ran it; you usually never end on him and the times you do make him are for OTKing or for walling lesser decks (rare; also easily outtable thanks to Underworld Goddess)

Endboard: Darkfluid w/ one token, Superfactorial for Laplacian (with Diameter), usually an Induction and whatever non-engine you drew.

Tips vs HTs: Vs Droll: make Alembertian next to a Circular. Can negate with Diameter if you want Wicckid search. Vs Nibiru: keep an extender (Add/Sub/Equation) in hand for when they Nib you. Summon extender, make I:P and set your traps; Unicorn when Laplacian is used up. Vs Bystials/Crow: try not to target Sigma with Diameter. Going 2nd set Superfactorial with skill to chain when going for GY summon effect. Bystials can't chain if you have no monsters on field. Vs other HTs: usually you should try to set up a Diameter negate before going for the more important plays.
