Start of season is a lot more difficult than the end of it, but I had to try and KoG before the KC so I didn't end burnt out.

Had like 0% WR against Vaalmonica going 2nd. Istg, I don't know if I'm just bad at the matchup, just bad at this deck, or the matchup against Vaal when SE goes 2nd is just that unwinnable.

This deck manages Branded by just clogging their backrow, and that disallows like 90% of the pushes that deck can do if you successfully fill their 3 S/T zones with useless monsters. The only things remaining at that point for them are the Bystials and Albaz exactly. Then, once you deal with Mirrorjade, it's game over.

Trisbaena was my 9th ED slot, the theory behind it is to summon it using either Phoenix or Masquerena + Flamberge and nuke the backrow that way. You won't burn because of the skill, but it doesn't matter. I didn't find myself in a situation in which I could realistically do that and was worth it, so I'm more likely than not cutting it for the KC.

Playing this deck as a board breaker focused strategy for when you go 2nd, while having the safety of Nightingale while going 1st, makes it feel really strong. It is. And at first release I wasn't playing the Lyrilusc XYZ... Stupid of me really.

Not enough quality replays to show tho. Vaal clapped my cheeks every single time I lost the coin, Mathmech either negated everything I did + hand ripped the 2 they had to or lost, Marincess got always clapped by Goddess and Branded either beat me or I placed 3 monsters in their backrow. Still, I'm showing some, so you may point laugh at me for being bad. I hope the 4 reps below are decent enough :D
