Notes & Combos

First time hitting KoG, did it with Vaalmonica. Can definitely beat any deck in the format right now, puts up crazy endboards. Droll definitely hurts the deck a lot, but depending on the hand it can play thru Droll (Versare pitch Selettrice, add back, then use skill to search for anything for example). Doesn't lose to a Lava Golem or Droplet or Kaijus, given you have Vaalmonica Creation, and obviously Book of Eclipse doesn't hit the deck too much.

The boards the deck builds are super resilient and hard to break due to the non OPT destruction protection from Zebufera, the repeatability of Followed Rythmn, and will win most grind games provided by looping Ereditare + Disarmonia from banishment back into deck.

The deck ratios are pretty standard, you really want Droll this format but not too many in case you draw in multiples, 1x Nibiru for a similiar reason, Book of Eclipse is probably the best board breaker in here, Forbidden Droplet is very solid to use to send Creation in going second to get all counters on your scales. Tornado Dragon is cuttable, as well as Steelswarm, never really came up, you'd much rather have Dugares or TY-PHON, but I didn't have any copies. Underworld Goddess is possibly cuttable but lets you out various unaffected towers in that are in the meta right now, which does come up.

The hit to Vaalmonica wasn't too bad this format, sometimes you would've wanted Abyss Dweller as part of an endboard but Followed Rythmn is too powerful to cut.
