i wanted to kog with traptrix so i kogged with traptrix. deck is actually not that bad in this meta, except it really struggles with vaalmonica. might be my skill issue

i usually go for an endboard of sera+2 of pingu/rafflesia/masquerena(pingu+rafflesia as the default, pingu+masquerena if i open break off, rafflesia+masquerena for droll)

for archetype card ratios, 3x of garden, holeutea, and pudica are functionally mandatory. 2-3x of myrm are good as well, though myrm is the worst skill starter. i like 3x dionaea but 2x dionaea 1x arachnocampa should also work out fine. mantis is a solid card and usually what i end up tutoring with pingu, since mantis gets another tutor for t2(usually dionaea). 1x atrax is there purely to enable break off for breaking boards going second

the handtraps are probably unoptimal but this is mostly because i chose them based on how much they intimidate the opponent. fuwalos can only draw into droll or nibiru, but thats fine in a bo1 format where the opponent simply does not know this, and being able to have 3 normals on t2 means you can make full use of the card advantage. kumongous is the only kaiju the skill will allow you to run so it feels right to run it, but an extra 2 handtraps may be better overall. the card does make breaking boards significantly easier though

actually picking what trap holes to use is ****** weird, but the two tthns are basically mandatory and atrax+break off is the deck's strongest option for board breaking going second. time-space and floodgate complement each other nicely as rafflesia options

i ran dweller over rafflesia for a bit but it is not good into more things than its good into right now. and if you play it against something its good into they will have a droplet for it lol. granite is the other limit 1 option, but i personally dont think its that good without arachnocampa

ps: i swear i just think the archetype is neat lore wise and fun to play...
