Notes & Combos

Hello, I'm Yuya Sakaki a.k.a Yuya/Yuri (discord:sakaki_yuya2), and this is my Dark Magician Deck List. It was really hard to KOG but I made it anyway. Droll is really a ***** in this meta, and it should be banned. I had to find ways to play around droll. Dark Magician Girl the Magician's Apprentice is a great card. She can easily special summon herself into Dark Magician of Destruction. I used to play two of her and two future silence, but everyone is always having droll in their hands, so it makes it impossible to have somewhat of a decent board. So I cut and replace them with diabellstar. She's pretty good because she is also a free special summon, plus she can set subversion which is good turn two for a bait card. Easy banish into DMOD as well. Curtain is such an amazing card too, it does a lot. You don't get drolled when you activate a quick play spell that adds a card to hand. Anyways, let me explain the standard combo depending on what hand you get. Do anything to add Timaeus to hand for combo.

Shuffle a card, play Timaues and add Magician's Rod and Dark Magical Curtain. Activate DMC and special summon DM from deck, add soul servant. Play DMG with skill and fuse into Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon with Timaeus and DM. Make sure you place him in the main monster zone which and not in the middle zone as well. Normal summon rod, add Secrets of Dark Magic. Link him and DMG into Day-Breaker the Shinning Magicial Warrior. Activate soul, place Magician's apprentice on top of deck. You will banish soul to draw two cards, which will be her and a random card. Special summon her to add Shinning Sarcophagus, and that will add Dark Magician the Magician of Black Magic. Since you special summoned her, day breaker gains another counter. Special summon black magic and pop him with day breaker. He will trigger to revive himself and set Magician's Salvation. Banish magician's apprentice into DMOD which will add Dark Magical Circle. Fusion summon into The Dark Magicians with day breaker and either of the DMs on your field with secrets of dark magic. Summon him in extra monster zone. Activate The Eye of Timaeus using a DM monster into Dark Magician the Dragon Knight. Draw one card with magicians. Flip over salvation to set Eternal Soul. You can either activate circle or not if you have non engine to set instead. You can freestyle up to here, but I usually just end my turn. I won't stop in improving DM.
