Notes & Combos

This season is THE most fun I've had with DM in forever, after a small hiatus because of the cancer kaiju and droll meta I came back because of the amazing love DM has gotten in the most recent boxes.

After trying out a few variants my favourite happens to be this one and you'll see why! Credit @Novomortus for their general strategies and combos. They are the deck that had the most fun and big brain combos with.

I tweaked their decklist to my liking, originally with no staples but of course once you get to Legend all you see is toxic droll and kaiju usage so, if you can't beat-em join'em.

This deck's turn one is almost unbeatable, and yes, if you play your cards properly, it can play around 2 interruptions, meaning a droll and nibiru.

key tips to remember:

• ALWAYS TOGGLE ON FOR DRAW PHASE TO USE DARK MAGIC CURTAIN AND AVOID GETTING DROLL'D
• TRY TO ALWAYS KEEP AT LEAST 1 DM OR DMG ON FIELD WHILE YOU SETUP SO YOU HAVE NEGATE WITH COMBINATION AVAILABLE ON TOP OF DRAGOON
• A PERFECT ENDBOARD SHOULD BE, MASQ, DRAGOON AND EITHER DMG, DM OR BOTH WITH DM KNIGHT IN GRAVE, ES, CIRCLE, COMBINATION AND DROLL OR NIB IN HAND FOR TURN 2
• LITTLE KNIGHT IS TOO GOOD NOT TO HAVE, CAN BE REPLACED BUT IMPACT WILL BE REDUCED
• THIS DECK HAS A DECENT LONG GAME AND CAN OUTLAST MOST DECKS SO DONT SURRENDER OR DESPAIR! (SEE CHIMERA REPLAY)

turn 2 is trickier but still VERY doable. whats good about this deck is you can use the same strategy that you use turn 1 for turn 2, provided you have the right cards. T2 is def weaker but not by much!

and of course, Eye of United Dragon skill is just way more fun mainly for DMDK which is what makes this deck so strong and with the new cards its even stronger now! I had alot of great duels this season so many that I was happy to share. AND I went on a 21 game win streak and only lost my 22nd because I bricked! so this variant has tremendous potential!

Cheers all!
