Notes & Combos

With the arrival of Icejades, a Legendary Fisherman rises back to surface and take on the meta by surprise. This, is Icejade Fisherman!

The climb definitely wasn't easy and I lost my KoG rankup games twice with the second being followed by a rank down. I adopted some ideas like using Kosmochlor to go into slime and adding Medium as well. But another reason I had to try Medium in this deck specifically is because Fisherman 2 could also search her. The Legendary Fisherman duo on the other hand, was my own idea as it started off with me just wanting to have fun with it.

For the combos, this is a control deck and you slowly gain advantage with this build. Medium + Erosion with an icejade (aegirine) can floodgate the opponent if you negate the first spell (some already know this I believe). But an early Fisherman 2 summon with Tremora can also be dangerous as your opponent will have to chose whether to remove it (giving you a free Medium search), or leave it and see if you have the other Fisherman.

Besides that, I think it's better to show you replays. I'll post my 5 favorite replays but let me know if you want to see more replays against any of the popular decks because I saved so much this time!
