So my burger of killing and violence did just ok in this incredibly difficult Tier 0 synchro slop format (which the banlist did next to nothing to curtail...call that white privilege at work lol). It took me 4 KOG attempts to finally make it, and only one of those fails was because of me misplaying. Even on prEP and with 3 of the Burger you stll run into awful going 1st hands of only tribute fodder and rituals. I also cut one Patissciel to put in a Lv. 1 monster because I got Neko Mane King FTKed one time and then it literally never came up...so it goes.

This is unfortunately one of those formats where having 3 Sphere mode is a must in order to deal with the interminable mess that is Starslop 2.0, not just because double Quasar is impossible to play through but because they set up a full board of monsters which turns off Concours. Also, sending my burger of killing and violence even harder on every Aster player who ran Mask of Restrict...I can respect the need to avoid L.G. but I draw the line at it completely shutting off my ritual summons, good f--king riddance. Otherwise, everything else in this format was pretty interesting to figure out and strategize against and it felt really good when I could work my way through opponent's boards with just my Ritual pieces alone.

Seeing the new box leaks just has me so disappointed. If the leaks are true, that means it will be upwards of SIX MONTHS since we last got a single new Ritual monster, the measly Lord of the Red back in January. That's it. That's the only Ritual thing we've gotten in DL in 2026. Why do they suddenly hate ritual archetypes all of a sudden?? There are several assorted pieces for Ritual archetypes they could just drop as SR and below in a main box somewhere and would do nothing other than get me to stop complaining about how Kronarmi hates Ritual duelists.

This does not bode well for my self-imposed challenge to KOG with only Ritual decks this year. Right now, my options for next month are to see if the new Adventure stuff synergizes with Mikanko in a meaningful way, or to turn my brain on hard enough to make Vendread Orcust work, or.......blue eyes (ewwwwwww).
