Notes & Combos
I would add a second copy of Shaddoll Fusion and 3 copies of Nibiru to make the deck 30 cards, but I don't own those cards. Tier 1 is still Tier 1 though, climb was not too tough. However, timer issues are present at times.
Without Nibiru, going second against Utopia becomes the hardest matchup. (Super Polymerization still makes it trivial, but opening it is uncommon) Going first against Utopia could still be difficult if they open Cosmic Cyclone. Lava Golem is not that scary for Shaddoll, just annoying, can make Grysta with it though.
I actually found going second easier than going first in the mirror match, summoning Hollow with the skill is great for it. I don't find Nibiru to be a big problem for Shaddoll either, I rarely summon 5 times going first.
Other matchups are whatever, not particularly advantageous or anything, but Shaddoll as an archetype is just generally stronger.
Card choices:
Shaddoll Falco seems like a useless chump blocker to me, not sure why most other people seem to be playing it. If it could summon face-up it would be much better.
Trick Clown is a free body, very useful for link plays, not sure why not many seem to be playing it.
Keios as a skill-searchable LIGHT is extremely valuable for saving the normal summon sometimes if other cards are already in hand.
Using Hound to flip is difficult to do, but can come up if all Resh Shaddoll Incarnations are banished. It also flips into attack position, good for more damage sometimes.
Nephe Shaddoll Fusion allows me to use the effects of both materials, instead of needing to use one to make Artemis (both plays need the normal summon anyways). Also, it can turn the Psychic monsters into LIGHT. However, it's only good going first because it is too easy to stop if going second.
Shaddoll Core's extra recycling comes up frequently, and is a great card to send under Different Dimension Ground.
2 Hedgehog so that 1 usually stays in the deck to be summoned by Wendi turn 1.
I didn't think Genius was that good, but it's the only EARTH main deck Shaddoll, and at least Construct can send it to block Spell Speed 1 effects, so it's an acceptable inclusion.
2 El Shaddoll Fusion to increase the chance of opening 1, but reduce the chance of opening 2.
Extra Deck is pretty much perfect, Dweller instead of Artemis could work better for some (never came up for me), but otherwise everything else is pretty irreplaceable, including I:P and Underworld Goddess (selection box exclusives 😔).
