Notes & Combos
Saludos a Coolsy sensei, a Akaba_Horse²⁷ y a Kullat que siempre me dan su apoyo para subir de rango a KOG asi que se las dedico.
It was a smooth climb in rank where I faced a much wider variety of decks compared to the last few months, when most were Therion or Stardust. Branded is very strong, and while it's not a guaranteed defeat since Dragoon or DMTDK + Eternal Soul are things that really bother Branded because it can't remove them from the field unless it uses Superpoly or Lava Golem (in Dragoon's case, if it uses its negation, Mirrorjade will banish it, so you have to be patient).
I have a good match against Snake-Eyes (since I occupy all the magic and trap slots and he can't get rid of them and I only have to watch out for Goddess) and Resonators if I go on the first turn (I just wait for him to activate his skill and I banish his synchronization monster with the circle and they basically surrender after that).
My deck underwent a few minor changes compared to last month. I removed one copy of Preparation of Rites and replaced it with one Bystial Druiswurm and one Bystial Magnamhut (Magnamhut can also search for Timaeus, or if you already have Timaeus in hand, you can add the Druiswurm instead). Coolsy-sensei recommended running three copies of d.d.crow, as while Ghost Belle is a very good hand trap, Branded had its Branded Lost spell card, which would make Ghost Belle less valuable. Besides, Senju + Druiswurm or Magnamhut equals Chaos Angel at full power. I had a lot of fun when I could pull off that combo discreetly, since if the opponent doesn't have a spell or trap card to negate its effect or destroy it, they simply panic, LOL.
That's all for now. I hope next month isn't so chaotic, although the Dark Magician never gives up.
