Happy to hit max with this after being 1 win away from KOG 2 seasons ago. If KOG worked like the kc cup I would play this game more.
I don't think s-force justify is needed at all. It would not have helped me win a single game. The only time you lose going first is if they have lava golem or can force conflict early and the s-force does not help with either of those problems.
The 2nd transcode gives the deck better follow-up. Send back splash mage with phantom and you can make this turn 3 with the follow-up in your hand that was searched with codec on turn 1.
I think playing 3 defenser is important because you always want to see this card. The main problem if you play less defenser is that when going 2nd, mining will need to resolve for you to start your plays and you can not always do this playing into boards. If you don't have the 3rd defenser play armored bitron or a 2nd micro coder.
