Notes & Combos
Coming back here again, this time with Eldlich Monster Traps. Previously I had tried the pure Monster Trap version and it gave me acceptable results, but once I combined it with the Eldlich engine it got better, and this turned out to be the best way to play it.
The downside of the deck is that without Apophis you’re in trouble — it basically becomes somewhat pay-to-win. That card was the MVP in most duels, and together with Soul Release they won the majority of matches against the Blue Bricks.
The strategy, as always, revolves around control and adapting to whatever threats your opponent presents so you can adjust accordingly.
Apophis is the best negate in the deck. With its ability to negate any card in the game, it solves a lot of matchups. If you don’t have the chance to run two copies because it’s P2W, the only option would be to run two Eldlich Counter Traps instead.
Soul is a last-minute addition — this F2P spell is something the opponent never expects. I decided to include it because I saw its potential to disrupt the Blue Bricks, and that’s exactly what it did. It completely devastated that deck in the matchups I had.

In summary, that’s the deck.
