Notes & Combos

I was going to use Mikanko this month but we're in tier 0 **** format so desperate times call for Drytron measures. And of course we have to go generic with the skill to scum wins off of all the Tachslop that's still...just...literally everywhere, sis! Looking forward to seeing more of this nonsense in Ranked, which I haven't even really started yet because Rush took literally 6ever (dat mean 5ever but even more excruciating).

Drytron is actually really fun and rewarding to pilot effectively except for the fact that you get dumpstered by pretty much every single hand trap in the format. I was originally using an Ultimaya into Crystal Wing setup going 1st but zone maintenance with this line is difficult to maintain, also it dies to Lava Golem along with literally every other deck in the format, so against most opponents I end on Nightingale with Lancea in hand (searched off Benten) and just hope they don't have Droplet. By the way, Lancea is the MVP against Destiny HERO, I stopped quite a few handloops just by opening it.

I chose Zane as my character for this deck because Drytrons are also LIGHT Machines that are vaguely constellation-themed some of the time and Cyber Emergency is his card too -- thank GAWD for the 3 free copies, also friendly reminder that we still don't have the 3 random CyDras that were in his hand in his one duel in the GX Manga. I'm sure that Cyber Alnair, Alsafi, Struve, and Thuban will make CyDra tier 0 when they get released, let's just say that.
