Tier 1

TPC Comments

Not much to say about the sole Tier 1 Phantom Knights this week. A small but effective core, good consistency, and searchable Loading... in the form of Loading... all combine to make a deck that is stronger than the sum of its parts. As the sole Tier 1 deck, Phantom Knights find themselves with a target on their back as more and more decks continue to side techs specifically for the PK matchup, but with the ability to run techs of their own, Phantom Knights are in a good spot and have earned their Tier 1 placement this week

Tier 2

From an outsider perspective Abyss Actors seem to be the most generalist deck, with the toolset and flexibility to be able handle several situations without becoming too overbearing. I would figure a Phantom Knight-focused metagame should benefit Abyss Actors, as that would generally mean less Loading... s coming out of the Sideboard, but they still have to face down the rising trend of maindecked Loading... .

From observation in Top Player circles, Harpies are considered to be the second strongest deck behind Phantom Knights. With Loading... adding much-needed stability to their already strong resource loop, making higher-card lists much more viable, it's no surprise that people find themselves flocking back to the birds.

Tier 3

Buster Blader goes down to Tier 3 as the representation of its good matchups also go down. It seems that Magnets and Gaia aren't the best choices anymore in this Phantom Knight-infested meta. For this reason, there is not much benefit to playing this deck. Although the threat of Loading... + guaranteed Loading... is still a force to be reckoned with.
