With the new box not moving the needle on the norms all too much, Mekk-Knights keep their dominating position in the meta. While specific Skills and builds and techs have shifted back and forth, fact remains that the spam-ability + searchable negation + OTK power + Limit 3 access has proven overwhelming for other decks to compete with.
Tier 2

Gouki rises up to Tier 2 status due to its popularity and results, even if it's dependent on opening Loading... + Another Gouki + Backrow to defeat Mekk. THe fact is it keeps doing well in tournaments, especially the Single Elimination ones
If I had to guess it will be the second or third most popular deck in the KC Cup (just behind Mekk and Salamangreat) due to how quick games are (win or lose) with this deck.
Tier 3
TPC Comments
Infernoid and Galaxy still hold their spot in Tier 3, as they likely will until post-KC Cup. They're the "fast and sacky" decks of the format, which severely boosts their viability in a Best-of-1 setting. With Madolche and Rokket being deemed too unreliable to break into the metagame, these are your picks for fast games (along with Infernity, which is however pretty bad for a tournament setting).
