Tier 1

Tier 2

Diuan

Galaxy Photon can consistently end on multiple interruptions, even through most hand traps, and, going second, it can search Loading... to shut off trap cards. Because of this, other decks have already started to adapt. For example, Traptrix players have started playing Loading... , and some are even using Loading... to have additional answers to Loading... beyond just Loading... . We've also seen a spike in cards like Kaijus, Loading... , and Loading... .

Most hand traps aren’t very effective at stopping Galaxy Photon, but there is an exception. Loading... is probably the best option against the deck, as it stops them from searching Loading... and usually removes at least one other disruption (sometimes more if their hand needs to search combo pieces early). That said, there are lines with Loading... that can bring out Loading... before Loading... can be activated, though those require specific hands or giving up some disruptions.

Tier 3

High Potential

Giorfio

Floowandereeze lists have adapted to the meta, and despite being pretty inconsistent compared to other decks, it still has solid chances. The best matchup is by far Traptrix, where Loading... is a huge floodgate for the deck, and all Trap Holes besides Loading... are dead against a deck that never Special Summons.

The skill is usually Precious Cards of the Wind or Precious Cards of the Water over Destiny Draw: Vermillion Sparrow (...because Loading... is gonna be 100% in your hand), but it’s not enough to break most boards in the meta, so the idea for turn 2 is to use the draw 3 to see Loading... , an insane board breaker against all decks that set up Loading... endboards.

Turn 1 usually sets up Loading... , which can be a floodgate for some Link decks, plus multiple ways to flip the entire board (Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... being a tech card as well), and that’s very hard to deal with for almost every deck.

The main issue for Floowandereeze is that, in order to make your best combos, you usually need combinations of 2-3 or even more cards, so it’s not very consistent even with the draw 2 skill. This deck also loses very hard to Loading... , but I think it’s a decent pick for this format, especially as long as Traptrix remains the best deck.

Off Tier List

Snyffus , World Champion

Red-Eyes had a short-lived stay on the tier list. It‘s not completely unviable competitively, but the rising popularity of Loading... as the main hand trap, Loading... in Traptrix, and Loading... in decks that can summon it all pose huge issues to this deck, worsening its position in the meta.
