Traptrix has solidified itself as the best deck. It was uncertain at first how they would deal with the Galaxy-Eyes matchup, but most people have decided to play 3 Loading... , which is the best hand trap against Galaxy-Eyes, and Loading... in the Extra Deck to deal with Loading... more consistently, which forces them to have naturally drawn Loading... (and even in those cases, if you drew Loading... , you can negate Loading... regardless).
Tier 2
zaidkingzaidkingGalaxy-Eyes is one of the best decks in the current format after the new box release. Your Turn 1 board, consisting of Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... , backed by Loading... and Loading... set, makes it one of the strongest decks right now. It can establish this board while being resilient against hand traps, which makes it quite oppressive.
However, the going-second aspect of the deck, in my opinion, is less convincing. It is extremely reliant on Loading... , and any answer to it makes playing through boards difficult.
That said, it still has other tools to push through with cards like Loading... .
Beetrooper's spot in this meta is quite similar to how it was last format. Although it should struggle with Galaxy-Eyes' Turn 1, the deck is able to run cards such as Loading... . The deck's Turn 1 is still incredibly strong and resilient to hand traps for the most part.
Tier 3
zaidkingGiorfioGimmick Puppet's engine can push through a lot of interruptions, especially the Rank 8 boards many decks seem to be making with the help of Loading... . If you pair that with cards such as Loading... , you can break through most boards quite consistently.
However, breaking Traptrix's Turn 1 is quite difficult because of the backrow paired with Loading... and Loading... , as well as Loading... in the Graveyard for Loading... , which also means you're susceptible to hand traps like Loading... and Loading... . I think the deck is quite solid at the moment.
P.U.N.K. decks received 2 notable buffs from the last banlist: first, Loading... is unlimited, so this deck gained 1 additional extender. Also, Precious Cards of the Dark now shares the same effect as Precious Cards of the Water and replaced it, so the deck no longer plays Loading... , and the Level 8 extenders are now Horus cards.
This is one of the "Dragluxion turbo" decks that are popular now, as any 3 Level 8s can convert into a board of 3 very good negates (Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... ). P.U.N.K. is one of the most efficient Rank 8 decks in the meta, and it has decent Turn 2 potential.
The deck uses Kaijus and other board breakers, but it is likely to struggle against backrow. Also, Loading... largely solved the Loading... problem this deck had previously, and Horus cards are better extenders than Loading... , so this deck is better against hand traps. I think all these Rank 8 decks are quite solid now (even Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes), mainly because their Turn 1 is extremely hard to break for any deck in the format.
