Tier 1
GiorfioWe are now in a format where a lot of decks are viable (even rogue decks are topping right now), and the difference between Tier 3 and Rogue is incredibly small. Traptrix has been the best-performing deck in most metrics, but it's not as oppressive as other Tier 1's have been (It's just the most solid deck with a decent chance into anything). Generally speaking, matchups aren't well-defined yet, and most decks rely on going first. With the evolution of the format I personally expect the Tier List to be trimmed down, especially in the lower Tiers.
Tier 2
Snyffus , World Champion
Galaxy Photon receoved incredible support with the most recent Mini BOX, making it one of the strongest decks in the new meta (I personally believe it is the best deck). It has the best Turn 1 in the game right now, consisting of Loading... (which is the 5th summon, meaning it can even negate Loading... ), Loading... , Loading... and Loading... at minimum, but sometimes you can even search one of the Galaxy quick play spells (Loading... or Loading... ) during the combo too. This Turn 1 virtually FTKs almost any deck in the format, most board breakers usually aren‘t enough to get through the Counter Trap and the Spell negate (with the exception of Loading... or Loading... ), and handtraps arent too impactful either most of the time. Its going 2nd ability is nothing to be scoffed at either, Number Galaxy summoning Number 90 allows you to immediately rank up into Loading... or Loading... and threaten your opponents board. Photon Stream of Destruction is also a great draw going second since its a Quick-Play banish for anything. I think we‘ll see a lot more of Galaxy Photon in the coming weeks.
Tier 3
GiorfioGiorfioEldlich saw some success from recent tournaments. The deck used to be a Branded counter with the Loading... combo, but now that Branded is gone it switched to a Loading... + Loading... deck. Zombie World can act as a floodgate against some decks but it's usually paired with Loading... (which can also be summoned with Loading... if you control Loading... ). Also Beatrice has the option to send Loading... which turns off Tachyon almost entirely and is decent against Galaxy Photon as well.
Eldlich is very strong going second, since Sanctuary of the King's Treasures is able to search Loading... or Loading... , and against Traptrix you can also search Loading... to protect your backrow from Loading... . However, Eldlich struggles Turn 1 against Photon Galaxy (mainly because of Loading... and Loading... ),
Eldlich plays Loading... which synergizes well, since it prevents OTKs while also being tricky to play around in conjunction with Kaijus and Sphere Mode (while also being good at denying Loading... from decks that can make it). All-in-all, I think Eldlich is a pretty solid control deck for the current format
GiorfioGimmick Puppet received its swath of TCG support (albeit locked behind a Skill that prevents you from FTK'ing). It's worth mentioning that this deck can still FTK through use of Loading... and Loading... (but it isn't worth running). The regular combo can establish 3-4 engine interruptions and doesn't care too much about handtraps (since Loading... provides protection). The deck also has tools to help push through boards going second (like Loading... and Loading... 's GY effects).
At first glance the deck seems amazing, but it feels that every deck has an answer to it. Traptrix can make Loading... , use Loading... , and pop the Field Spell with Loading... . Galaxy Photon's Turn 1 board is very hard to push through. Tachyon can make an unnafected Loading... for the Field Spell and forces you to OTK with just burn damage. That being said, Gimmick Puppet saw some early results and hasn't been solved yet.I can see the potential here but the deck would need to fix its issues to sure up its reliability in the meta.
Shaddoll got Loading... back, so the deck is about as good as it was before the last banlist. Is that enough for it to compete in this new meta? The deck is still scary if it goes first and is quite strong into handtraps (especially Loading... and Loading... . Its usual set-up of Schism + Loading... + an optional Loading... is usually enough to win most matchups. Against Tratptrix, you can make Loading... Turn 1 and avoid activating cards Turn 2, denying that part of their Skill that gives them Loading... (with them not being able to deal with Winda with just engine). Galaxy Photon might be harder to deal with because of Loading... (but they would need a very good hand to deal with a full Shaddoll combo).
The problem for Shaddoll comes with going second, since they can't plah many echs. Also, Loading... being the tech Shaddoll wants to play (since it's a LIGHT for Loading... ) is not ideal right now, since most decks can full combo through a Veiler. Some decks are breakable if you go second, like Beetroopers and Traptrix without Loading... , but decks like Galaxy Photon and Tachyon are unbeatable. That being said, the fact that the Traptrix matchup can be favourable puts Shaddoll in a pretty decent spot (despite Galaxy Photon being a tough matchup).
