Notes & Combos

The ratios skew more towards two ofs. This deck has no one card combos so it's important to not brick on duplicates even if some cards like Tiger, Sheep and Wolf are not once per turn with their effects.

Some relevant match-ups:

-Shiranui: Easy going first. Dweller and Evilswarm are very effective.Going second is a lot harder but is still manageable if they don't have the continuous trap.

Battle Chronicle: Very bad to go first here. They don't give a darn about Dweller and Evilswarm Nightmare gets taken out by Successor Soul. Also having Tiger get banished by Dark Magical Circle or Dragon Spirit of White. Their interruptions aren't too crazy so going second is reasonable.

Sky Striker: Super easy going first. Most of their removal doesn't work on our fusions so if they have the Sky Striker skill, just make Leo Dancer and pray they don't have IDP. Going second is tougher but nothing we can't deal with. Be wary of Shark Cannon and Widow Anchor. Crimson Fox becomes lot more helpful against this deck.

Tenyi: This deck is a complete joke against Lunalights. Berserker can be a problem if you draw poorly, but that's it. They run minimal non-engine, so Kailedo-Chicks banish effect to stop all effect activations while Leo Dancer goes to town on 'em renders all of the Tenyi Spirits useless. This deck also gets countered by Dweller/Nightmare just as hard as Shiranui. You should never lose this one unless you're terrbibly unlucky.

Cyberse Combo: Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Tiger King breaks the Wicckid/Cyberse Quantum lock on its own with his second effect. Enough said.

I went back and forth on Lunalight Fusion, but put it back towards the end of my climb. Whipping out a fusion as the first move and destroying the opponent did work out.

Regarding some extra deck picks:

Castel The Sky Blaster Musketeer: This card was cut but is still really solid. Would be my ninth slot if we had one.

Knightmare Phoenix: I included this so I could link of my turn 1 board (Dweller and Nightmare) on turn 3 and free up zones. Being able to pop backrow is secondary but still helpful at times

Fire Fighting Daruma Doll: This card is awesome. You can either pop your own Tiger or a Tenki to get rid of backrow. Tiger revives a Lunalight upon destruction so it's a great way to make use of a spent Tiger.

Bujintei Kagutsuchi: Milling will trigger some effects on your monsters and you can retrieve something you need with Sheep. Also it pumps up Sabre Dancer's attack a bit.
