Notes & Combos

let me start off by saying BOY, do i ADORE these girls! lunalight is such a darn fun archetype, and i am so glad it's getting to see the LUNAlight!

NOW, onto the combos!

OPENING COMBO:

• NOTE: in your opening hand, you want at least 3 of the pieces to the puzzle: Chick, Marten, and Tiger! (if you have either a Sheep, a Wolf, or Tenki in your hand as the other card, then consider yourself blessed with an amazing opening hand!)

1. Summon Chick, and user her effect to send Marten to the grave (or if Marten and Tiger are both in your hand, use Chick to send Panther Dancer to the grave. again, all going back to the puzzle piece of Chick, Marten, and Tiger!)
2. Pendulum Scale Tiger, and activate Martens effect via the hand or graveyard, wherever she is, to send Tiger back to the hand
3. Once you have both Chick and Marten on the field, use them both to XYZ summon into Bujintei Kagutsuchi (if i go first in a duel, i prefer to summon it in defense rather than attack, as i'm not 100% sure what my opponent could be running)
4. let Kagutsuchi mill the top 5 cards in the deck to the grave, and depending on the cards milled and what you think or are up against, set Tiger's pendulum scale once more and use it's effect to either make another XYZ (if first, preferably Evilswarm. if going second, play it depending on the situation! if i'm second, i personally would go for Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Tiger King to negate faceup effects and use Tenki as a way to grab a Sheep to bring back a Wolf that was milled if you didn't have a Wolf already in hand, or any other saving grace. If you milled a Serenade Dance, that is also SUPER clutch, you can use it to special summon Kaleido Chick to dump another Lunalight and potentially fuse if you either had a Wolf or grabbed a Wolf)

MAKE GOOD USE OF ALLEVIATION! it's such a darn good ability that makes Lunalight all the more powerful! if you don't already have one of the 3 beginning/opening puzzle pieces, than use Alleviation as a way to do so!

(example combo: if you go first, and your opening hand is Lunalight Serenade Dance, Lunalight Emerald Bird, Fire Formation Tenki, and Lunalight Fusion: use Alleviation to send Emerald Bird from the hand and Kaleido Chick from the deck to the grave, and use Fire Formation Tenki to search and add a Lunalight Tiger to the hand! set Tiger's Pendulum Scale, use it to bring Chick back, use Chick's effect to dump Marten, and proceed!)
