Notes & Combos
Even though Beetrooper is not on the tier list anymore, it still viable. Played this deck from before the they limited Retaliating "C" until now and it able to keep up with the current meta. First turn end board: Set up for field with Invincible Altas, Heavy Cavalry and Light Flapper (Scale Bomber or Sting the poison can also be on the field if you drew them). With both Fly & Sting and Void Trap Hole(Other Trap Hole cards that can be used are Bottomless or Floodgate). Other cards I tried are Motherspider (Another Kaiju but too gimmicky), Aztekiped (Extender) and Papillion (IDK what this card is used for, barely summoned it). You can choose to play some non-engine cards or replace them with more insect extenders.
- Against Therion: Leave a monster zone open so you can use Sting lancer effect in your hand to get rid of a Therion in the GY if they target it. Try to prioritise stoping Regulus from being summoned or being equipped. Try to save a trap hole card or Heavy Cavalry effect for Irregular. Pray they don't have enough cards to OTK you afterwards.
- Against Traptrix: I barely went up against Traptrix surprisingly.
- Galaxy Photon: Use Sting Lancer effect to prevent them from summoning a monster from their GY. Try to get rid of Dragluxion before it becomes Hope Harbinger.
- D-Hero: Use Sting Lancer effect to get rid of Malicious in the GY. Use Fly & Sting to negate Faris or increase to stop them from getting 2 bodies on the field and stop Vyon before it summoned. Focus on stoping them from getting Plasma on to the field.
- Against FTK: No
- Going Second: Use Sphere mode or Kaiju to get rid of their boss monster and hope you have enough extenders in hand break their board.
