Notes & Combos

So... here we are. Onomats, the previous Tier 0 deck from the ZEXAL era... having its main skill overly nerf that it's no longer funny. But who needs a consistency skill when you have... a skill that removes your mats?

The one main problem with Onomats after their skill got destroyed was, well, consistency. And even with Onomatopaira getting released as a massive paywall card from the most recent Selection Box, the deck still struggled with consistency... until now.

Onomatopickup pretty much fixes this by giving you 3 more copies of Paira and thus making this deck have more consistency post-skill nerf. And now it can make a really strong board going first.

Alright, time to explain the basic combo going 1st with the best of my abilities:

• You want to have on hand 1 Paira and 1 Discard fodder, either Utopic, Gloves or Cloak. Pickup is also needed on hand if you lack either.
• Activate Paira by discarding your fodder, search Sister and Bancho, or either and Utopic of Gloves if you already have Sister and Bancho on hand.
• Normal Summon Sister to search Revenge. Activate Bancho's effect to Special Summon himself from hand.
• Activate Sister's effect to make both her and Bancho level 6s
• Xyz summon Beatrice using them. Activate her effect by detaching Bancho (and only Bancho) to send the either Utopic, Gloves or Cloak to grave, depending of who was your discard.
• Activate Revenge to revive Bancho. Activate Bancho's effect to revive Utopic or Gloves.
• If you have Utopic or Gloves on hands, use the respective revived monster to Special Summon one of them. Utopic Specials Gloves, Gloves Specials Utopic.
• Xyz summon Dark Rebellion. Activate Overlay Removal to remove the materials on Dark Rebellion. Banish Cloak from grave to search RUM. Use RUM on Dark Rebellion to rank it up to Dark Requiem.
• If you done the extra step on italics above, use Bancho and Gloves to make Dark Rebellion while keeping Utopic on field.
• If so, activate Gloves' effect to Special Summon himself, then Xyz summon Dweller or Hand, depending on matchup, with Gloves and Utopic.
