Notes & Combos

My dear fellow Marincess enjoyers, today I want to share an insane decklist that will make your opponents rage-quit on their first turn and bring Marincess to full power in Duel Links! Before starting, I activate the Marincess Skill and adapt my searches to my hand. With Pascalus + Dive I search Blue Tang + Sleepy Maiden; with Blue Tang I search Pascalus + Maiden; with Pascalus + Maiden I search Blue Tang + Springirl. Blue Tang also lets me check the top 3 cards and adjust my plays. I want Fog King in the GY. I can send it there with the Skill, or if I have it in my hand, I can use Tidal to discard it. Tidal can then send a Marincess monster from the Deck to the GY, or Special Summon itself by banishing the required monsters. If I can't access Fog King this way, I use Springirl before making Crystal Heart. With Pascalus, Sea Angel and Crystal Heart on the field, Springirl sends 3 cards from the Deck to the GY, so with only 12–13 cards left there is a very high chance of hitting Fog King. I then Special Summon it with Coral Anemone. I Normal Summon Pascalus, Special Summon Blue Tang and send Sea Horse to the GY, then make Blue Slug and recover Sea Horse. Pascalus makes Sea Angel, which searches Battle Ocean. I activate Battle Ocean, Special Summon Sea Horse and use it with Blue Slug to make Crystal Heart. I then Special Summon Springirl/Mandarin and make Coral Anemone, which brings back Fog King. Crystal Heart + Coral Anemone make Aqua Argonaut, and Battle Ocean equips it with Blue Slug + Crystal Heart from the GY. Finally, I Special Summon Sleepy Maiden to protect Battle Ocean. The final board is Argonaut + Sleepy Maiden + Fog King: Crystal Heart protects Argonaut, Maiden protects Battle Ocean, and Fog King prevents Tribute Summons, making Kaijus and Lava Golem useless. Fog King can also disrupt Branded by preventing Tribute-based plays. Marincess Wave protects all my monsters from destruction by card effects while I control a Link-4, including Fog King. Going second, Fog King can also Tribute a Kaiju or Lava Golem my opponent gave me, gaining its ATK/DEF and removing the monster locking me out of my Marincess plays. Going second has many different lines depending on the opponent's board and my hand, so instead of writing every possible combo, I recommend checking there plays to see how the deck plays going second. I reach kog with this in august season
