I believe that marincess crown tail is a pretty important tech piece and should be considered as a viable search target with the skill of you don’t open it, or sending it to the GY with your link monster’s effect, or in most cases you’d pivot off of Marincess dive with battle ocean if you happened to draw into a Marincess spell with blue tang as shown in the duel replay
Marincess crown tail should be viewed as a insurance against kaijus, as it can let you survive a full turn and cannot be easily negated from the GY, in the event all your monsters are removed from the field.
The combo seen in the replay also has coral triangle in the GY, which makes recovering from your board being broken very easy, as you can bring back monsters from the GY with a combined link rating of 3 (coral anemone and any link 1), and since coral anemone is sent to the GY if argonaut leaves the field, you should have argonaut as your recovery target to have a boss monster for next turn.
Although if you aren’t able to have crown tail in the GY at all, I believe you shouldn’t go for the current listed combo as it makes you vulnerable to kaijus anyways.
