Notes & Combos

Same as my DLv MAX list, I just temporarily swapped out Abomination to farm Chronicles for Dingirsu :^) But I put it back in.

Excluding the KC Cup duels, this was roughly 80-90 wins. Very tough meta.

Some notable matchups were Despia, HERO, Ancient Gear, and Shaddoll.

• Shaddoll was my KoG rank-up, and I made Zeke banish itself to reduce the skill flexibility. He opened Shaddoll Fusion anyway but tunneled into Squamata sending Dragon pop my set Shark Cannon instead of Squamata sending Schism for any follow-up on his final action, so it was over quickly when he didn't topdeck.
• Ancient Gear is always scary, but when they make Sanaphond... if there are enough monsters in the GY from Vector Blast, you can steal their Sanaphond with Shark Cannon and it can be bigger than Chaos Ancient Gear Giant so you survive. xdd
• Despia kinda makes me draw Droplet going 1st or else I need Widow Anchor and/or Shark Cannon going 2nd. It's a miserable matchup but I got comfortable with it.
• HEROs were pretty doable going 2nd, but they opened Cursed Seal on Engage, so I definitely was playing from behind. At the very end, Hayate came in clutch after Rainbow Neos shuffled back my entire GY.

Some tips when playing Striker:

• You can Zeke banish herself to reduce the strength of the opponent's Skill when you face decks like Speedroid and Shaddoll. This also plays around a Kaiju against Utopia.
• Search with Shizuku in End Phase, activate your searched quick-play spell, then resolve Multirole in End Phase if you want to set the card you searched.
• Little-known play: Hayate triggers in "After Damage Calculation", which means even if she would die by battle, a Raye or Roze could be sent right beforehand, then Hayate floats into it. This plays through an earlier banish of your only Raye.
• If you use Jamming Waves on your own set Spell, that does count as the 3rd Spell in GY if need be, since it is sent to the GY before the full resolution.
• In case you don't know the OTK, Hayate sends Roze, then Linkage into Kagari add back Linkage, that's 6500 ATK's worth of damage.
