Generaider is one of my absolute favorite decks in the TCG so when it got added to duel links I immediately had to build it. This deck struggles a bit with only 3 zones but despite that, Harr and Laevatein are so strong this deck is still very good. Originally, and all the way to Legend 5 I was playing a build with 30 cards and no Non-Fusion Area, while I think a build like that might be optimal, I was struggling because my non-engine pool is really really bad into this format, and also sometimes bricking with no engine. Only having 1 crow, no droplet, and no veiler meant my winrate against despia and shaddoll was quite low so eventually I gave in and cut all the bad non-engine and threw Non-Fusion Area in which carries those matchups. The skill is incredibly broken, by making Mardel a starter it single-handedly fixes the consistency problems the deck has in the TCG. Xyz burst solos some games and paired with eclipse is an auto-win. Xyz import doesn’t come up much but when it does it’s good, it’s cuttable tho.

Now for my deckbuilding choices. Only 2 Vala and Laevatein because I only have 2, I’d play 3 of each if I could. No Utgarda since only having 3 zones makes it much weaker. I like Nidhog because he stomps any matchup Non-Fusion Area doesn’t auto-win against, still, he’s useless into fusion decks so I get why people would play Utgarda. Terraforming over rota because I already have so many copies of Mardel and multiples doesn’t really help while having Mardel + Boss Stage is always very good. Sadly I don’t have Earth Slicer which hurts a lot because I have no reasonable out to Armed Dragon Thunder lvl 10 without it (you can’t Laevatein monsters that can’t switch control because Konami said so). You still can out Armed Dragon Thunder lvl 10 with the Harr forced send but it’s a really clunky way to do it. I only made World Gears once and it wasn’t very good (it does technically out Armed Dragon Thunder lvl 10 tho, I guess).

Anyway, I love Generaider this deck is peak.
