Notes & Combos
KATTOBASHING DA!
Hello everyone, I wanted to do an actual serious deck breakdown with the new card, but I had this scientist inside me who wanted to test out this version, so I followed my instincts and did so.
So, here I'll breakdown why I took some decisions:
40 card deck is due to me wanting to play more cards, while not running out of steam, making it truly have some shuffling and survivability. Heavenly is just a nice draw engine, as a pseudo Trade-In, tho it's definitely not as good as it, plus it does not disable your dragons like the HEROs engine. Seyanen also goes pretty well, since it combos with our new boss monster, the captain, and you can also do some cool combos like skill -> pitches #39 or C39 -> recovers with Seyanen -> pitches again with Phoenix Dragon (+1).
Tbh, gotta say that I couldn't test it fully, since the ladder quality isn't the best rn, so I might try it out on a tournament. This deck sometimes ends up being really bricky, especially when you end up with a hand full of spells, so beware of that!
Also, on 40 cards having 3 Home Runs don't feel bad and it goes well with its recurrence, allowing you to activate the skill many times. And here is also where it goes well with Heavenly, as even though you might go -1 or even -2, you're still thinning your deck and setting up your GY, so it's never super awful.
Overall, what I felt from this is that I really am starving for a good draw engine in Baseball and I am disappointed we haven't gotten Trade-In yet.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask!
