Notes & Combos

This deck is INCREDIBLY matchup dependant with it's main advantage being currently there are 0 trap cards that deal with it (outside of the rare floodgate trap hole). Waring point is the only card that delays the game but its not an out and IDP isn't useable unless you discard a toon monster (which you shouldnt be doing with a skill that grants you a spell discard).

Matchups

  • Orcust is a painful as Ding just outs everything, Probably the worst matchup from my experience.
  • Pendulum is FREE going first. Your goal is to grab double briefcase as pends generally only have their 1 dragonpulse removal and thats it. If briefcase resolves on their pend summon their ENTIRE field is gone. Most of the time getting 2 is easy but even if you only find 1 remember your skill can grant you a free spell to set as a 50/50 decoy.
  • Destiny HERO is painful, if you don't open book going second you lose as your fieldspell will die to the quick effect Dystopia (even with bookmark as it wont protect until the field spell has resolved). No field spell = No trap immunity. Going first isn't too bad though :)
  • Tenyi again is very painful, Vishuda removes the field spell and circle dodges the Briefcase. This matchup might actually be worse than Orcust.
  • All other matchups seemed pretty fine as this deck does just render 90% of backrow useless and most off meta strats rely on backrow to remain relevant.

Techs/Ratios

  • 3x Briefcase imo feels FANTASTIC and I want to see it as often as possible. 2x Briefcase with a setup DM + Field spell is incredibly hard to deal with. Opening multiple going second isnt that much of a problem either as you need a discard for DM.
  • Only 5x toons. Originally I only had 4 but kept getting annoyed when the field spell would banish BLS since he is an instant lethal alongside DM. More than 5-6 toons imo is garbage, they are bricks and summoning muliple turn one changes nothing. You only need DM + 1 other for lethal and DM can summon the other no need to draw it.
  • 0x Comic hand. Found I was just never really using it and the few times I did I could have just set up DM pass like normal and probably would have won anyway. The few times it was useful were drastically outweighed by the times I opened it going first and wished for an extra tech/bls.
  • 1x Prismatic DMG Dragon Knight is required for the ULTIMATE flex.
