This is my first trial with Rush Duel and i liked it a lot!

The format is fast and vibrant and the feeling of the game coming and going at every turn is awesome to me!

I played Magicians because it is a classic and also powerful due to the skill Magician's Shuffle. Dark Magician Girl gets to 2500 ATK once you hit the skill, and that makes it a very good beater, similar to Summoned Skull, only you can have 3 copies. Somebody played this strategy agaisnt me on ladder in Gold 5 and I loved the idea. I considered that this strategy would be good enough to get to King of Games, gave it a try, and it was definitely worth it.

Indeed, Dark Magician Girl stabilizes the board a lot, since the opponent needs to either exchange it for one of its solid beaters (such as Dragias or Summoned Skull) or spend one of its combat tricks (such as Thunder or Torna) just to deal with 1 of the copies, with 2 more coming later.

After Dark Magician Girl does its job the turn goes to Sevens Road Magician, which is awesome every time it appears. On the contrary, Sevens Road Magician is weak once its turn ended, so having it plus Dark Magician Girl on the board helps a lot holding the line for the next turn.

One interesting play I found relying on a lot is the draw filtering that the Mystic Dealer provides. It can reach to your bomb to play, so it is almost always worth it. The other star is Thunder, which pretty much clears the way for your bomb to kill the opponent's bomb without dying in the process.

Rush Duel is definitely very cool and I will definitely keep playing it in the future. I hope the addition of more cards makes the meta even more diverse and fun!
