Notes & Combos
Essentially a somewhat more consistent version of Gouki, both decks being able to set up a negate Turn 1 and OTK Turn 2+.
Ideal Turn 1 setup is Equimax pointing to a monster (negate) + Arboria in GY (destruction protection) + Crusadia Power (protection) + Crusadia Krawler (followup) + battle protection from the skill.
Ideal Turn 2+ setup is Equimax pointing to Thunder King or an opponent's monster and Maximus (for double damage), which usually results in an OTK.
Spatha came in clutch during some duels where I did not have Thunder King in my hand, allowing me to move an opponent's monster to a zone that Equimax pointed to.
The only monster in my ED that I didn't really use was Rasterliger.
Something funny I observed while playing this deck (you can see this in a couple of replays) is that my opponents would sometimes use BoM on the monster that Equimax points to, not knowing that Equimax can still tribute face-down monsters for its effect.
