Hiiiii ghost girlies and 'Geist guys!!!! This is basically the same list I used to excel at KC Cup this month, but I put back the Spellbook in place of Mirror Force and I swapped Lv. 5 Reload with the Spellcaster’s Exchange skill (I got sick of drawing Kunq after putting it back). The KOG climb this time around was BRUTAL—I got demoted twice from legend 3=>2 and from 5=>4 (and very close to 3 again!), the only time I’ve ever been demoted more than once in a season. With such a diverse format, you really, REALLY need to know how a lot of different decks function in relation to yours…and also pray you open the Kaiju if you go second against anything other than the big blue boy. Speaking of, I’m gonna admit that the Blue-Eyes matchup is way worse than you’d think, considering they almost always open Dragon Spirit which is such a beast for Altergeist to deal with.

I’m so, SO happy that Altergeist is getting access to Limit 3 Traps with the new Meluseek unhit, and c/hoping that the new leaked Skill (which is actually way worse than I initially thought—thank u to the commenter who pointed that out!) is an indication that some of the remaining support is near upon us. Currently hoping we get Pookuery, Memorygant, and Haunted Rock at the very least. Protocol would also be outstanding.
