Figured that the release of Trish would be good enough to get me to KoG even without the new banlist. Most common combination that came up was Inzektron/ Prais/Quan. To get banlist talk out of the way, I'd prob swap Entry out with Impact, one Quan with Citree, Undine package for 3x Recycler, and Tuna for another Rion.

Crow is absolutely the best card in the deck, and possibly even in the game. It deals with all the problem MUs, particularly turning its worst MU in Galaxy-Eyes into basically an auto-win. Crow is also favored against Rose Dragons, HEROs, and also auto-wins against the new solitaire Infernity deck.

The easiest way this deck loses is 1)bricking lol and 2) well-timed staple backrow. SSA is still one of the best traps in the game after like what, 4 years? The state of the meta favoring MST over CC really helps its staying power as well. Whale, of course, addresses the problem as a one-for-one BoM killer.

Quarion was obviously the least played ED choice, but it must stay in case you need to synchro using Crystron effects. Second least played was Dolphin. I ran that over Coral very recently due in part to overall better counterplay against E-HEROs. Based on what I've seen, the engine has no outs, and the more used tech cards like BoM don't do much to Dolphin.

Lack of MU knowledge was key to the KoG run tbh. Lastly, remember to watch out for Rion/Inzektron on field, and don't Book/Chalice Tuners on MP when DP or SP stops the defensive tactic completely.
