Notes & Combos
The deck is actually not that bad in this meta, as Hope Harbinger was changed to 3. Going first you can pretty consistently make a board with 5 interuptions, including multiple negates. It also has Nibiru immunity, because you can summon Photon Lord on the 5th summon in the main combo. I also didn't have much trouble against Droll and Lock bird, due to Galaxy Photon Dragon being able to send a galaxy card to the GY, and then adding it back with Solflare. Going second the deck can OTK most of the time, so long as you can play through your opponents interuptions. There are some issues though - as expected you lose hard to lava golem. Another issue, which actually caused me a lot of frustration, was that the deck just doesn't have a whole lot of follow up, due to the skill being a hard once per duel. So I ended up losing a couple matches on the third turn because I simply couldn't get a monster on the board. I've made a few additions to the deck I haven't seen in other lists. The first is Photon Trident, this card actually comes in clutch especially against Horus, as they often left a coach king or a photon lord on the board in defense position. Since the sarcophagus only defends the horus monsters, you can literally just OTK via pierce damage, completely uninterrupted. The second is a third copy of afterglow dragon, as it helps with consistency a little, and increasing the deck size means less chance of drawing cards you might not need. (photon trident for example)
