Notes & Combos

Hello everyone, welcome to another one of my Altergeist King of Games entries. I'm sure people know me by now, but I'm your favorite number sixty seven Altergeist content creator and the only person who Ghost Gal has a restraining order against. I could write essays on how much Ghost Gal hates me and how she’s totally a real person who hates me and I’m not completely delusional, but I’ll save that for the insane asylum. Without further ado, here's my Altergeist deck for the October 2025 ranked season, a perfect way to kick off spooky month.

With this decklist, I was able to hit King of Games in just 4 wins, which is honestly impressive in of itself, but it gets better. For my entire Rookie to Legend 5 to KoG, I went undefeated, going on an explosive 67 game winstreak, and attaining that King of Games with my totally real wife's (my body pillow) deck, Sky Striker. I just can’t hit King of Games without cheesing the rank up by flipping a NFA against a fusion deck and instantly winning, so I played Sky Striker, but I’m posting an Altergeist list bc my ego demands it. Ev1l’s known for Geist, and Im actually only known for typing two and a half essays for a sentence worth of information.

Not much has changed on my decklist aside from like, the skill, card ratios, the traps we play, the combos, and like… everything. The combos before were really bwoken bc like if you opened a 2cc that required a card you only played 1 of, you could end on Hexstia with NOTHING ELSE GUARANTEED. I used this list to place 1st in Duel Links Empire Accession #32 because I’m a very competitive player who joins tournaments. As for the other cards, I added in El Shaddoll Winda to flex its alternate art, Ningirsu + Linkuriboh to answer Lyrilusc and of course Wall of Disruption to counter swarming decks. I don't like Ningirsu because his card art is so ugly (I know bro did not just disrespect my goat like that) so here's hoping Evil Eye is nerfed soon so I can kick Hexstia out and put S:P Little Knight back in. I only accept cute waifus in my lists bc I’m weird, but Ningirsu is clearly goated asf, so I was happy to add him.

As for closing thoughts (which aren’t closing thoughts at all but I want to keep taking up character space because more words means better quality, right?????????), this deck is truly insane with x3 Spoofing and a playable skill.
