Notes & Combos

Mekk Knights was an interesting KOG it struggles a lot in this meta mainly against bls and tenyi but aside from that generically good matchups.

Now to explain my build i chose to go with the skill its a toon world bc

  1. it helps u play when u go turn 1 a lot more reliably than something like monster move & u arent relying on having a spell/trap set to set up a column bc skill sets it up
  2. comic hand sack is a thing

comic hand is basically like playing mind control with the added benefit that u can attack ur opponent directly & sack the **** out of them. Its very good to remove ur opp monsters as mekks really struggle to get over big monsters reliably. It also helps set up ur columns so synergises with the deck well i chose to play 3 initially but it seemed like too much so cut it down to 2.

I also chose to play magistus engine over swap cleric bc:

  1. i definitley have swap cleric im not broke :(
  2. its acc thins ur deck much nicer than swap cleric as u initially add a magistus so now u have 4 cards in hand then u draw another one so techinically a draw 2 & then u return a card to hand of ur choice so u kind of plus as the magistus guy is always a nice target to return back into ur deck if ur hand is that busted.

The only disadvantage with this engine u have to take up 4 ed slots which tbh i didnt see myself needing any other ed monsters than i already have in this deck. Another thing i love ab the magistus engine is its utility in terms of board breaking the rank 4 xyz im using offers s/t pops so u can clear ur opp backrow before making mekk plays & also when its equipped to a monster that monster can attack twice so use that effect to ur advantage it won me a few duels. U can also if u like play Vahram the level 8 synchro magistus guy if ur really struggling to remove big monsters as it pops ss monsters upon attack. If we ever find ourself in a monster negate meta rilliona would be a good utility option as when equipped it can negate a monster so essentially ur covered with all aspects of yugioh till maxx c is in duel links KEKW

The ed is pretty standard maybe minus borreload who is only in here to threaten bls with his thick borrel load... & it helps remove non targetting cards like sabre dancer and then use them against ur opp not to mention u can reduce ur opp monsters during the bp and they cant respond.

Major Tip: if u dont have columns set up link into artemis before u world legacy memory as it locks u into mekks
