Notes & Combos

Skill discard jet, search explorer. Normal explorer, revive jet. Jet + explorer into tatsu. Jet search junk forward. Tatsu + junk forward into charge warrior. Chase revive tatsu. Tatsu + charge warrior into croco.

This one card combo gives you a quick effect pop from croco and two draws from croco and charge warrior. On it's own this is not very impressive considering that there is 0 non-engine to draw into. Instead I chose this combo because of how well it enables crystrons (see replays).

The goal of this deck is to stall the opponent out for one turn using inzektron before killing with quasar in an incredibly explosive turn 3/4. The choke point of this strategy is the citree that summons inzektron. As such it is vital to protect citree with an impact in GY. You get there by cycling through a bunch of cards with tatsu, charge warrior and croco. With a good hand you can go through more than half of your deck this way. That means an insane amount of follow-up in hand and GY. For instance you will often be left with a junk synchron in hand (as a search from jet/tuning/overtake). Junk synchron can single handedly summon quasar on turn 3 onwards with an explorer in GY.

Going second you summon jet warrior with chase up. This is an unexpected spell speed 4 bounce. From there you can use the skill to get signers. With rda or black-winged dragon + jet you can go into croco to get rid of even more. Tenyi is actually free going second with the jet warrior that can't be responded to.

The list itself is not very optimized. I built it today and it took me from legend 1 to KoG so quick I didn't have time to iterate on it. I'm already thinking about a lower deck size and more impact though.
