You guys, I finally did it! After time and time again, your Altergeist King has finally made it to King of Games with my waifu's (Ghost Gal's) deck, Altergeists. The basic strategy of this deck is simple. You basically want to control your opponent's board using Silquitous to spin problematic monsters off the field and essentially whittle away at your opponent's resources. The best part of it all is that this deck doesn't really struggle too much into backrow, so if you really hate backrow, I suggest picking up Altergeists. The deck is very difficult to pilot and definitely needs a good pilot to see success but once you've mastered the deck, you'll definitely see results. I was able to finish top 500 this KC Cup and hit King of Games this November 2023 ranked season with ease so I'm really looking forward to the new Wave Two support that Ghost Gal will get on her event rerun in January or February 2024. Basically, just control your opponent's board, know when to use your backrow to trigger Multifaker, and use Hexstia to close out games. If you want to learn how to pilot the deck at a really high level, I will be streaming this exact decklist on Twitch so make sure to swing by if you want to learn the deck. With that being said, I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving and is looking forward to the upcoming Christmas Break. If you have any questions about the deck, I'll be happy to answer them either here or on stream live (CrimsonReaper5).

Just in case anyone is curious, my five games to King of Games were consisted of Yubel/Hero (Jaden/Yubel), Trickstars (Blue Angel), Crusadia (Yami Yugi), Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon (Yuto), and finally, Fossils (Jim "Crocodile" Cook).
