Main build decisions

- Removing Hallowed Life Barrier

Initially, the build used Hallowed Life Barrier as a tool to survive against explosive decks.

However, despite the protection it offered, the card frequently created passive hands and reduced the deck's ability to interact directly with the opponent.

Replacing it with 2 copies of "D.D. Crow" brought a much more active and flexible approach.

Besides significantly improving matchups against graveyard-reliant decks such as Branded, Swordsoul, Therion, and Chimera, it also reduces the value of several extension lines without compromising the deck's overall consistency.

This change made the deck less passive and much more focused on disrupting the opponent's game plan.

- Reducing Lava Golem to 1 copy

Lava Golem remains one of the strongest board breakers in the game against established fields.

However, running two copies considerably increased the number of bricks, especially when going first.

Reducing it to a single copy preserved the card's board-breaking potential while significantly improving the deck's stability and the frequency of playable hands.

- 2x Forbidden Droplet

Forbidden Droplet was essential for dealing with established boards, especially against decks capable of setting up multiple interruptions.

Besides its defensive strength, the card also has excellent synergy with the archetype by sending spells to the graveyard.

Final considerations

The build was refined with a strong focus on consistency, flexibility, and the ability to play effectively going second.

Instead of relying on slower defensive traps, the deck prioritizes cards that actively interact with the opponent while maintaining the resource management and grind potential that make Sky Striker so strong.

The result was a more stable and adaptive version of the deck, better suited for the current Duel Links meta and capable of consistently handling a wide variety of matchups.
