Deck Build

As always, a deck I barely scrape by on with only 1 copy of the new URs and SRs needed.

Chemicalized Salamander is now in 3 different boxes that I went into once each. So this deck was a no-brainer to pick up this month. I would add another Ember the Hyper Assistant, but maybe I'll wait for the dream ticket.

Because Chemicalized Salamander shuffles Monsters back into the deck, you can just keep re-using your 1 copy of Salamandra and Flame Archer if they get sent to GY.

How to Play

This deck is highly likely to brick turn 1. The OTK goes crazy though.

Going 1st

• Set everything.

Going 2nd

• Decide if you can OTK them with 5500 ATK (5800 if you have Noodle Art) and burn damage or not.

• If yes, go into Flame Archer.

• If not, destroy as many of their cards as you can. If they have more set spells/traps than monsters, go into Salamandra. If they only have 1 spell/trap and many monsters, use the skill to get 2 Embers and 2 2500 ATK monsters in hand.

• Repeat from step 1 on subsequent turns.

Combos

It's possible to summon both fusion monsters in the same turn, but you have to have the right cards in hand and on field already to start with, including Fusion. Make sure to double check if you have Fusion already set before using the skill. If you already have it, you can fusion summon, then use the skill to get Fusion back and fusion summon again. I've never pulled this off. lol

If you draw Genie, you can use the skill to search Germalewe, send Germalewe to GY, then use Genie to get Germalewe back to hand, essentially using the skill for free. This can also be done with Chromatographagas if you open with Secret Order.

Make sure you use Salamandra's effect BEFORE setting your own spells/traps. He destroys everyone's S/Ts, not just your opponent's.

Match-ups

The deck seems to be strong against every other deck except Meteor Dragon. Both decks are also the most prevalent on ladder. Out of 47 games played, this deck had a win-rate of 66%
