Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

- Manually
  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

It's Babel Orcust and so it might be atleast a bit more interesting, than the other Mermaid Stuff. ^^" ________________

Some thoughts:

disadvantages

-Babel Orcust is less consistent than the Mermaid variant (but still pretty consistent)

-it's biggest downside is, in my opinion, that it's way more vulnerable to tech cards (against Lancea, if you not lucky enough to harddraw Babel or open slayer + an orcust normal, you just pass on nothing, were the Mermaid Builds are still able to set up atleast a ding) (basically CC or MST kills your disruptions pretty much instantly, if they hit Babel - which you btw. should do against Babel Orcust (; ) ________________

advantages

-It's way better in the grynd game! If you able to play first turn, you will set up every turn again and again constantly your 2 sends (Longirsu + dingding in grave) - which is in my opinion way more, than the Mermaid Builds can do, cause after there Copy of Release, they pretty much depend on drawing backrow. ________________

side notes:

-I decided to play D.D. Crow (as it's in my opinion the best handtrap in the format), LinkSlayer and CC as tech cards. You can also go for backrow instead, which will probadly be better if you get Lancead or handtraped go first and make PendelMatchups maybe easier, but will be way worst go second. In the end I never had problems against Pendel - but it was only a KoG grynd, in tournaments you should of course be prepared with the side.

-LinkSlayer is a beast, if you have more - play them! Maybe cut Return.

-I'm free to play, which means so far I don't have Phoenix/Unicorn or a second Gala. If you have them, of course inlcude them. xD Pentestag, Orcustrion and Enforcer are cuttable (Enforcer is decent tbh., the discard is really good, the second Longirsu comes up sometimes) - just make sure to play 1 other Link 2 than Gala for your normal combo.

-The Orcust Main Deck ratio is almost perfect I feel like. If you really need more space, you can cut 1 Harp, and if you a crazy mad man, you can cut Brass - but here and there you will brick with hands due to that and to the lack of targets for return.

But I really enjoy orcust, basically since it's days in the TCG back than and in DL it is also quite some fun (atleast for the orcust player lul). :D
