Gandora is one of my favorite skills as it gives a lot of room for creativity.

Compared to the pure version, you have a worse go 1st but a much better go 2nd.

The fact you can send monsters flipped by book of moon or affected by warning point with gandora is insane, especially with linkslayer.

I prefer playing knightmare mermaid as it gives the deck a stellar consistency, which gives more room for techs, and I love the trap. Even without iblee in hand, mermaid can summon it from the deck (ideally you will discard knightmare or harp horror with mermaid) to put the iblee lock against decks like rda or hero (but then you will want to play link disciple as you will be locked by iblee too and you can't activate the orcust effects first beacause of the dark lock). As I was mainly facing orcust, I chose to try something else instead.

Post side, this deck is incredible as the trap reborn ANY monster and you can play the numerous rank 4 xyz. With the versatility of gear gigant and orcust knightmare + the fact gandora sends monster from the hand to the gy, you can quite easily foolish and summon stuff like crystron rion (inzektron), kozmo dark destroyer, jinzo, desperado,... Desperado is especially really good as it has an effect when foolished to get temperance or an other level 4 dark monster for your combo (as it is a dark monster it even gives access to evislwarm nightmare with harp horror).

Other stuff worth trying : monsters who banish cards from your gy as it will allow to reborn/recycle your links and dingirsu with the wand. It works really well here as the skill creates a dark monster in tour gy. As a result dark spirit luna has immediate synergy with the skill, increases the consistency (knightmare combo), gives an extender and allows to make xyz plays (dweller, nightmare,..). In a different style levianeer is really good too and makes up for all the card advantage lost by gandora (gold and silver are light so you can use all of its effect, it works even better with the iblee knightmare combo if you play link disciple). Although less strong, chaos fiend has great synergy with gandora and the discard from linkslayer and the knightmares.

If you wonder, not fond of scrap recycler as it conflicts with the norm, looses to every disruption and handtrap and ice dragon prison. If you play mermaid, iblee is a much superior option in my opinion, you are not forced to use the effect going 1st and it chainblocks mermaid and gives an ice dragon prison protection.
