Hey duelists! This is my personal Gimmick Puppet deck, and I want to share some tips and combos for this particular deck. First Turn: The key is finding a way to get Rogue Doll in hand so you can use the deck's skill. We have cards like Little Soldier, Scissor Arms, Condolence Puppet, and the Field Spell. If you don't have it in your first hand, these cards will help you get it. After having the Doll in your hand, we proceed to use the skill. The card returned will be one that the opponent doesn't need or doesn't want in their hand, such as Bisque Doll, Argent Chaos, or an extra Trap. These are especially important because the Fanatix skill and ability allow us to add them. Afterward, we primarily aim to add the Field Spell, as this allows us to protect our monsters from many threats like Nibiru or Veiler, and in more extreme cases, from many Despia or Traptrix cards. Once you've done that, you're ready to put the following on the field: Fanatix Machinix, the field spell, the first trap you add with Fanatix, which is usually Service Puppet Play, XYZ Block, which is placed on the field by the skill, and finally a second XYZ of your choice. I generally use Leo since it's a free material discard and I recover puppets for the next turn, or failing that, I generate a graveyard. In turn, its Chaos form, Disaster Leo, is a good wall against Evil Twins or Traptrix because of its ability to avoid being targeted. Going second is where this deck truly shines, as it tests your creativity with the deck to eliminate your opponent in that same turn. The key, just like on turn one, is having Rogue Doll in hand to activate its skill and search the field, since this is where it will be much more effective due to the protection it provides. Furthermore, the ability to set Puppet Parase and activate it can be a massive +3 in material if the opportunity arises. This is where the first combo comes in. Condolence Puppet is our main weapon, as we'll use it to send both Terror Baby and Bisque Doll to the Graveyard. Bisque Doll will protect us from targeting, while Terror Baby's effect provides immunity and a surprise factor. This is important because it guarantees that our monsters' effects will be active, and it prevents many cards from being triggered, such as Tachyon Transmigration. Using Puppet Parade, we'll try to Special Summon the cards we use with Condolence Puppet and Link Summon them. This is only necessary if we don't have Condolence Puppet in hand.
