Notes & Combos
Volviendo por estas tierras como siempre con algun deck trampero
his month I felt like playing some burn, and this idea came up with my Despia friend. Thanks to Beatrice and the Apophis cards, it’s pretty easy to bring them out, and together with Skull Invitation they make a solid burn combo.
However, the game won’t always let you rely only on burning, since burn boards are not that hard to overcome. It really depends on the situation whether going for burn is worth it or not.
Usually, when I have the Slime trap that gives me access to the Slime fusion, that’s when I choose to go for the burn combo, because one of the deck’s main weaknesses is how vulnerable it is to Veiler. The opponent almost always has Veiler or Impermanence, but this problem goes away once you have the fusion.
In many cases, it’s more profitable to play a classic turn with trap monsters—like setting up two Apophis and Anguish—to have interruptions, and leave the burn strategy for the late game.
Overall, the deck is pretty fun to play.
