Hello everyone! Your favorite Altergeist main is back at it again with another King of Games run with my favorite deck, Altergeists. I feel like I am the only one left still updating this deck monthly, which makes me a bit sad seeing how dead this deck is. However, the good part of Altergeists being so dead is that the deck is basically tied to me now (as in if a new Altergeist list goes up, there's a 100% chance it's my list), and also people on ladder literally don't know how to play against this deck, where the chokepoints are, and what to negate. So, let's talk about this month's iteraction of the deck.

For this month, I changed things up and went with x3 Stygian Dirge and x2 Mischief of the Gnomes. Level modulation is just too good this format since it hits a LOT of the good decks like Photons, Tachyon, Gimmick Puppets, P.U.N.K., and more. Nobody expects Stygian Dirge either, making it that much better. It's the spice I came up with this month. Now that Branded Despia and Shinobirds are dead, I no longer have to play Non-Fusion Area, which makes my matchup spread a lot better since most decks this format hate getting level modulated.

So yeah, what do I think about Altergeists this format? I think the deck is quite good. Jizukiru and Sphere Mode sacking away boards won me a lot of duels. Sphere Mode in particular is just so broken this format. I also know a lot of you have questions about the new Ghost Gal Skill, EX Code: Infinite Impermanence. I tested it and the Skill is bad for Geists. It does help you unbrick, but at the end of the day, you're still playing the outdated Multifaker set 3 pass variant of Geists, which is not good enough to bring back Ghost Gal Geist.

I really hope 2026 is the year Ghost Gal gets something new going for her. My hopes are we get Protocol, Malwisp, and Adminia along with a usable Ghost Gal Skill. Come on Konami, make it happen. If Geists get anything new, you guys know where to look for to get that information. I'll be the first to cover it.

I also want to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my friend BlairVVitchProject, who has been a huge inspiration for me. My birthday's coming up soon on April 5th, so I'm accepting early birthday wishes. In addition, graduation is soon for me in May, where you can officially call me Dr. Konami, please give me more Geist support for my birthday in Malwisp, Protocol, or Adminia.
