Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable King of Games climbs I ever did because ever since Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon died, I am not forced to tech in Paleozoic Marrella and Mischief of the Gnomes and have them be dead draws against decks that don't care about getting level modulated. I am so glad that the banlist finally did something about Tachyon to reign its power level in and allow more breathing room in the meta without having to specifically tech against countering it.

Unfortunately, since Altergeists still haven't gotten any new support cards yet, this decklist is as standard as it gets for an Altergeist deck. I did put a small twist on my decklist with the alternate art Evil★Twins just to flex on my opponent and to prove that you can climb with Altergeists even with a sub-optimal Extra Deck. Out of the Extra Deck, I summoned everything except Primebanshee and (obviously) the Evil★Twin links, which were just there for flexing purposes.

That being said, I am looking forward to what the new upcoming Sherry LeBlanc mainbox offers. I'm excited for Sky Strikers because I love control decks (Eldlich when Konami?) and I am hoping we get my waifu Azalea and/or Roze with the Sky Striker stuff.

And finally, my 27th birthday is coming up soon on April 5, 1997 so I hope Konami can deliver me some good Altergeist support in the form of Malwisp, Pookuery, and/or Memorygant. Please Konami, I love Altergeists and I'm begging for new support here!

Replays

No replays this time around because all of my games were pretty boring or uninteresting to watch due to players playing suboptimal decks or forfeiting turn one. Plus at this point, you guys already know how Altergeists work, with it being Silquitous + Kunquery control, and the deck didn't deviate from that strategy until we get Pookuery or more support cards.
