Notes & Combos

It has been a while because these previous metas were so god awful that I never bothered to KoG, specially when the last one was a Tier 0 format where the mirror match was just as miserable as Orcust Tier 0. Like I did not give a **** about Tachyon meta that I just ball'd and used the FTK build, never reaching KoG because the entertainment of failing to get the pieces through the more funny ways was worth it at times, it made me feel alive... But now, the meta is a tad better but still not great. Let me explain.

I was intended to get KoG with the new Zombie deck because I love Zombies and I git a prismatic Changshi, so might as well... However, a lot of people just immedietly started to counter the deck specifically by running Necrovalley in the main deck, and even if I was running MST, I fail to open it in most games against them and they won everytime... EVEN IF NECROVALLEY SCREWS THEM OVER AS WELL BUT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT MEANS A GOOD CHANCE TO AUTOWIN AGAINST THE ZOMBIE DECKS. And that was so frustrating that I changed to Abyss Actors, and oh boy, the climb felt more smooth than Zombies thanks to various factors. A Pend deck that did not give a **** about the GY that D.D. Crow or IDP or Necrovalley became dead in the opp's hand or field, and can also counter Zombies and other GY-reliant decks thanks to Sealed Tombs is actually insane, I felt like I was playing Mermail during the second PK meta but without a turn 1.

3 Madonna, 3 Wild Hope, 2 Extras, 1 Relief, 1 Superstar, 1 Rookie and 1 Rise as the core of the Actors. I hope you people know what they do. 3 Endy because it helps well with the strat. Being able to be backrow removal, mosnter negate or removal, and even enables searching by popping Wild Hope scale is helpful. 2 Eccentrick because a normal summon pop or pend scale backrow removal is also useful, and 3 MST because I hate backrow and pops Wild Hope. The entire Magistus package because we barely use the Extra Deck. 1 Phoenix because I hate backrow and the Utopia package for fun OTKs.

While the meta is feels a bit more in favor towards the living dead, it is definetely a lot better than these previous metas, and I hope decks like Gluebel, Glue-Eyes and Live Twin die harder than those zombies.
